The 48th World Polymer Congress held May 16th – 21st of 2021 held a hybrid blend of on-site and virtual events. 1300 participants from 40 countries around the globe participated in the congress. More than 800 video files (including online talk short-talk sessions) were submitted in advance for virtual presentations while 158 speakers gave their oral presentations on-site.
Seda Gürdap, who continues her doctoral program on Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering in our department and is under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sevil Dinçer İşoğlu, Head of Bioengineering Department, received the Online Short Talk Student Award with her presentation titled "Polysulfobetaine-based Core Cross-linked Micelles: Synthesis by RAFT Polymerization and Solution Properties". We congratulate her and her group’s success and wish them continued success.
