BIO Türkiye - International Biotechnology Congress held online on September 9-11 2021 hosted by the IVEK Foundation. The congress brought all stakeholders together to ensure interaction between pharmacists, pharmaceutical industries, the R&D departments, young researchers, doctoral academics, and other professionals in the fields of medical and pharmaceutical biotechnology. BIO Türkiye is intended to serve as an efficient platform where the problems and solutions of the biotechnology ecosystem in Turkey, including public, non-governmental organizations, universities, and industry are discussed.
Dr. Fatih Ortakcı was awarded the third oral presentation titled ‘’ Genome analysis of a new potential probiotic strain Lactiplantibacillus plantarum DY46 isolated from fermented turnip ‘’ upon the evaluation of the BIO Türkiye International Biotechnology Congress jury.
